The HeroClix Core Game is a tabletop combat
game using 3-D collectable miniature figures
of your favorite characters. By building a force
from your collection of figures, you can take
on the roles of your favorite characters and
challenge your friends to epic battles!

Any number of players can play a game of
HeroClix, but the game plays best with two to four
players. For a two-player game, you will need the
following: a selection of characters, a rule book,
1 game map, 1 Powers and Abilities Card, and
2 six-sided dice (2d6). You might find that a few
coins or other small objects to use as action tokens
and a length of string or other object to use as a
straight edge will help you play the game. Each
player turns the combat dial of each of his or her
character to the starting position. When playing an
advanced game with Powers and Tactics, you may
also need 6 object tokens and terrain markers.

Maps and Token will be provide on Tournament Night.

House Rules!!!

All events are modified golden age (or silver age if you like). This means we allow all figures, colossal, vehicles, feats, event dials etc in our regular tournaments unless otherwise stated. The only restriction is no figure that comes with a card (ie Avengers forward) can be assigned any cardboard (ie. feats) and we do not allow bfc's. ATA's are perfectly legal. We DO enforce the highlander rule (no more than one of the same named figure on a team) and we encourage creativity, competitiveness, and good sportsmanship in both team builds and game play.

Since we do not give out the standard allotment of prizes (usually we give out AT LEAST one prize per player). We typically distribute prizes randomly unless it is a buy-in event like No Mans Land. In fact, during buy-ins, we normally have more prizes than players depending on how many people buy-in. In other words, the more people that buy-in the more prizes we have to give out. Random prizes encourage players to play for fun rather than the typical "LE of the week Team". It is also possible to win a prize for exceptionally good sportsmanship or game play.

Because we encourage people to have fun we normally get between 8 to 12 players per event and this includes a good mix of players of various levels of play ability. Come and have fun!
