Settlers of Catan is a resource management and building game where players compete to claim and develop the isle of Catan with its rich and abundant resources. The board tiles are interchangeable, so no two games are alike. Build settlements, cities, and roads using the commodities received from the land surrounding you- things like lumber, grain, wool, ore, and brick. Attempt to cut off your opponents and start a monopoly of goods, or use the robber to steal your opponent's items, but beware. Anyone can use those same methods on you! Designed by Klaus Teuber, manufactured by Mayfair Games, Asmodee North America.

Review from The End Zone Reviewer: 9/10

With its many different versions available, I first played the German version of this game with my family. It sprouted so many inside jokes and great laughs that this game is near and dear to my heart. I would recommend this game to whoever needs a good family game that's well-paced, inviting, simply strategic, with a dash of competitiveness.
