Dixit is a creative card game where you get to interpret numerous detailed illustrations with your own words! Players take turns being the storyteller by picking a card from their hand, coming up with a prompt for that card, and placing it face down. The rest of the players then pick a card from their own hands that they feel fit the prompt best and place those with the first card. The cards are then shuffled, revealed, and everyone guesses which card is the storyteller's. The storyteller earns points by having players guess their card correctly, and the players that did get points too. Any card that's not the storyteller's that gets votes earns points for the player that laid that card down. Don't make the prompt so easy or too hard, though, because if everyone or no one guesses the storyteller's card, the storyteller gets no points! Designed by Jean-Louis Roubira, manufactured by Libellud.

I love this game for its simplicity and art style. Every card is a new and unique picture that's bound to evoke something special in your brain as you look at them, and each time you do, there's something new you haven't noticed before. This game is great for families and younger kids because there's no complicated words or rules to confuse anybody. You can really expand your imagination playing this- I highly recommend it.
